La Pashe Trinitage Cards

I really like the La Pashe Trinitage Cards and sheets to make them.  La Pashe suggested that you use 2 x 2 cm cardstock tubes to put between the layers to create the pop up effect.  I felt that this created too much space between the layers, so I made 1 x 1 cm tubes and stacked 2 together.  See the pictures.  I think they look much better and the 3D effect is much cleaner!

More shadow box frames

I am still having fun making shadow box frames!

Shadow Box frame

So after making the shadow box card, I thought that there had to be an easier and neater way of making them.  And furthermore, that you should be able to make your own shadow box frame to hang on the wall.  So I set about working out how I could do it and this is the result.  I am really pleased with it.   Love to know what you think.

Shadow Box cards

I was reading some blogs this week, and I came across a tutorial for a shadow box card.  I just loved it and thought I would have a go.  I changed the dimensions in order to fit one of my own creations in it. Here is the result.

I found them a bit fiddly to the get edges of the box bit right and covered in nicely so I don't know if I would make a lot of them.  Still have to refine the process of making them I think. But all in all, pretty happy with the result!  Hope you enjoy it.
